Act 1 Show Choir

Act 1 Show Choir is Carl Traeger Middle School's competitive show choir.  The 2023-2024 school year was the group's first season, and besides performing in local events in Oshkosh, the group also participated in two competitions, and at the Green Bay Southwest Powerhouse Festival the group placed 2nd place (an incredible start for a brand new choir). 

In the group's first year, costumes consisted of items that could be purchased at Goodwill or may be in the attic of member's homes.  This was out of necessity, as the group was brand new and didn't have any money to purchase costumes. 

As we look forward to the second season, we are looking to purchase costumes that will last for multiple seasons and be able to be used in a variety of shows.  We are looking to purchase costumes that can withstand the wear and tear of a competitive performance season while still being appealing to look at to the audience.  We are also looking to participate in additional competitions, which will require paying for enrollment fees and transportation.
